Just been checking out the y-managent site, the guys who have decided to take on the five-headed rock beast that is tinybluechildren and found the site of the band they're supposedly going on tour with, four young italian ladies called vertigini.

Well, it looks like due to illness (both viral and drink induced) i'm having a quiet night in on a Saturday - so no hedonistic debauchery for me or trips to the booth. All of which means I've been doing absolutely nothing, apart from come up with the revelation that flash on web sites is the way to go, poorly designed and slow loading yes, but looking pretty is the name of the game. So those of you without fat-pipe connections (and i include myself in that group) prepare to be bored silly over loading times. (All this is of course if i don't get bored with the whole thing and decide minimilism is the way to go.)
See some nice graphics at the designers republic , from my old stomping ground, Sheffield. And view a rather disturbing video clip (more so than the Mingman Sings.) at drukqs . And a video that disturbs me but in a very different way is the one by Shakira , whenever this young latin-poppet appears on the screens at work i have to stop whatever i'm doing and stare in silent worship. And a big welcome to my fellow robo-buddy from across the pond (thats America by the way), the talented android who has been bullied and seduced into joining in the banter on the bulletin board. Local news for you, the man Gregory has resigned , i think i might apply for his job, with my Championship Manager record. He says he wants a break from Premiereship management, so he probably is going to Derby then. As for stupid links, your best bet now is Loki's all new Venkman site. He even has a nice new bulletin board, but in your gasps of wonder at it, please remember the big trans-atlantic recruitment drive for my very own online community , join up, invite your enemies and acquantancies you've renewed hatred with via friends reunited. If you have no loved-one to invite, you could try these guys , or maybe go here. Have a good weekend everybody, and don't do anything i wouldn't. Some actual ParanoidAndroid Film action whirring into motion recently. The release date of the baxxter single is suddenly looming, so a final cuts gonna have to be done soon. And last night it was time to film the mighty 'saint again, at the Flapper, for an art project of Carrick's. In typical fashion, the things got to be edited in a day, gives me something to do tomorrow if my mind is still intact after what will hopefully turn out to be Another Saturday Night Absolutely Wankered at the Academy (TM). If any of you read this and its still the 19th of Jan 2002 and you live in Birmingham and have nothing beter to do with your existence why not join us? JOIN US.

Um...some slight revamps happening on this page really is all I've got to say web-wise. Jesus don't you hate it when you read one of these stupid web-logs and whoever's writing it starts with "nothing much to say" - why fucking bother I say! You can now read how much/little i've ever had to say by clicking on the Archive link on the left. No point to it really, but the archive link has never worked so i thought i'd take the time to fix it, as i was giving this page a little bit of a make-over. Its still not at the cutting edge of geek/chic yet though, so more work is needed.
Talking of working on their web-presence, the boy Loki has got his new Venkman version2 site up and running, so I'll plug it here for him. In typical Loki fashion, its meaning and purpose is somewhat vague, but i think its often the best way, to let your cyber-child grow up in an organic way. Saturday, January 05, 2002
Well I 'spose I'd better say Happy Nu Year to you all, and hope you all had a fat bitch of a christmas. The staff at Paranoid Android had a very drunk one, and many many blackouts. No updates to the site at the mo' i'm afraid but ideas are in the poo-pipe line. The lack of updates has mostly been due to Xmas inspired drinking, me having to work in my exceptionally dull job, and me becoming addicted the strange God-like powers I am enjoying with The Sims. More on The Sims later.......
